Netflix Adds 26 New Movies And Shows This Week (Oct 9, 2022)

A new week has arrived, and with it comes a host of new movies and shows on Netflix. This week we’re getting a new cook-off show, a new adventure comedy, and a new season of a teenage rom-com series.

One of the first new shows coming this week is Easy Bake Battle. The new cooking competition arrives on Netflix on Wednesday October 12, 2022. The show is hosted by strange eye‘s Antoni Porowski and the contestants must use their best kitchen tricks to prepare the simplest and most delicious meals.

Unfortunately, they don’t have to use an Easy-Bake Oven for every challenge, which is what I thought the show would originally do, but it should still be an interesting show.

Next up, and just in time for Halloween, is The Curse of Bridge Hollow. The comedy-adventure film hits Netflix on Friday, October 14 and has stars stranger things‘Priah Ferguson, Marlon Wayans, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Rob Riggle and Kelly Rowland.

Netflix is ​​adding Mismatched Season 2 and Easy-Bake Battle this week

It follows a young girl who accidentally unleashes an ancient spirit on Halloween. The ghost brings Halloween decorations to life and causes mayhem. She must team up with her father if she is to save her town.

More in the mood for a teen romance series? Well you’re lucky because Mismatching is back for Season 2 on Friday, October 14th. The series is based on the popular book When dimple meets rishi by Sandhya Menon. Dimple is an ambitious tech mage who wants to achieve her goals, and Rishi is a die-hard romantic. When her parents match her up, Rishi falls in love with Dimple almost immediately and wants to marry her.

At the end of Season 1, Dimple and Rishi didn’t end on the best of terms, and when they’re reunited in Season 2, there’s still a lot of tension.
