Nelly Furtado, 44, leaves fans stunned as singer looks “stunning” in tight backless dress at MTV VMAs

NELLY Furtado caused a stir at the MTV VMAs after stepping out in a skin-tight dress.

The 44-year-old singer walked the MTV carpet in a stunning black dress.

It was a floor length dress but the back was completely open and it showed off her toned back.

The only thing that saved her from a major wardrobe malfunction was a thin piece of black fabric on her back.

Nelly beamed as she posed for photos and walked the pink carpet to show off her look.

During the show, the singer teamed up with 51-year-old rapper Timbaland to announce the winner of the Song of the Year award.

The recipient was Taylor Swift, 33, and she seemed very happy that these two icons presented her with the award.

In August, Nelly spoke about life in her 40s in a rare appearance on a podcast episode.

The early 2000s phenomenon was featured on model Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast: High Low with EmRata.

During her appearance, Nelly spoke about the difficulties she faced in her life as a young artist and mother.

She also spoke about what the future holds given her re-emergence in the music industry.

The Maneater hitmaker was full of life as she excitedly began talking about topics such as the new music she is currently working on.

Lastly, Nelly released an indie album She released 2017’s The Ride, and she said she’s “always wanted to do” the album.

In the same interview, Nelly talked about entering a new, single phase of life and that she wants to make songs that are more upbeat and fun.

The Canadian singer revealed that she was inspired by the music she listens to when she goes to parties.

She also draws inspiration from her teenage daughter Nevis, with whom she became close after the two spent time together in the music studio.

Nelly gave birth to her daughter on September 20, 2003 with her now ex-boyfriend Jasper Gahunia.

The couple separated shortly afterwards in 2005 and in 2009 Nelly married sound engineer Demacio Castellon.

Unfortunately it didn’t last and the couple divide in 2017 after around nine years together.
