Neighbor’s chilling words after ‘shooting an innocent dog’ revealed – after pet made a mistake in new neighbourhood

The chilling words of a neighbor have been revealed after he allegedly shot an innocent dog after the pet made a mistake in a new neighborhood.

Marlon Caballero and his family had just moved into their new home a few weeks ago with extra space in the garden for their beloved pooch, Canine.

However, the California family would not be able to enjoy the new home for long after Caballero said her neighbor fatally shot the dog nine times.

Now the neighbor faces charges of animal cruelty and firing a firearm in a public area, according to Fox LA.

Caballero said that as of Nov. 27, Canine, the family dog, had been chasing a squirrel on their property for almost a decade.

During the chase, the dog accidentally jumped over a fence into a neighbor’s yard, and that’s where the fatal shots are believed to have occurred.

“How could anyone do that?” Caballero said in an emotional interview.

He said he approached the neighbor’s fence and called the Labrador to him.

“I suddenly go from one side of the fence to the other side of the fence, I hear three shots,” Caballero said.

The man asked his neighbor to release the animal so he could get help, but the neighbor refused.

“I beg the neighbor, ‘Hey, please give me my dog, let me have my dog. I can save him if you give me my dog,'” Caballeros said.

However, Caballero said he heard more gunfire as he ran back to his home to call 911.

In total, the neighbor shot Canine nine times.

“And from then on, it just broke my heart. How could anyone do that [a] dog,” he said.

Caballero continued to beg, saying he heard Canine whine after he was shot.

According to the pet owner, the neighbor is said to have said to Caballero: “No, your dog is already dead.”

The family has now applied for an injunction against the neighbor and called the police.

“It’s tough, I can’t even sleep at night just thinking about a noise I hear outside,” Caballero said.

He added that his family is afraid of their neighbor, who they now know is armed and who they believe is “dangerous”.

“My heart was broken into a million pieces. How can someone be so cruel,” Caballero said.
