THE wife of Neal Currey, an influencer loved by Donald Trump Jr., shared heartbreaking news following his sudden death.
Currey’s wife Casey confirmed her husband’s death Monday, just days after the couple vacationed in Lake Powell, Utah.
Casey shared several photos of her and Neal in her story with her 300,000+ followers, with a message at the end: “I can’t begin to show my gratitude for the outpouring of love and support for our family.
“I know this has left a gaping whole [sic] in everyone’s heart.”
Casey added that she and her family are still finalizing the details of Neal’s ministry and provided viewing and funeral dates.
According to Casey, Neal died on Saturday, but a cause of death was not given.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our dear Neal Currey passed away on September 10, 2022,” read the post announcing his death.
“To know Neal was to love him. We have lost a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. Without Neal, our lives will never be the same again.
“The burial arrangements are currently being determined and will be communicated shortly. Until then, we welcome your prayers and ask that you use this time to reflect on the memories.
“We miss him dearly and know this loss is deeply felt by many.”
Currey, who served as an Army Ranger and completed five tours in the Middle East from 2004 to 2009, was the Utah gunnery range owner, Ready Gunner.
Ready Gunner is the place for experts or novices to shop, shoot, and learn about firearm safety.
Perhaps best known for his career as a firearms influencer, he had over 60,000 followers on Instagram, including Donald Trump Jr.
Before news of his death broke online, Casey and Currey were enjoying the last days of summer at Lake Powell.
The couple enjoyed the sun and engaged in water activities like flite boarding and wakeboarding.
Currey’s most recent post featured a video of him surfing Lake Powell with the caption, “Water is Life.”
Currey is survived by his wife Casey, their six children – daughters River, McKenna, Remi and Faith and sons Cole and Jack – and his mother Delia.
