Naughty Boy says his time on I’m A Celebrity has revealed the man behind his celebrity persona.
DJ and producer, whose real name is Shahid Khan, says his time at Gwrych Castle has made him more confident.
He said: “I feel like I grew up there, it was a journey I didn’t expect, the friends I made and the experiences I had.
“I have matured in how to handle things and overcome a lot of fears. Snakes, altitudes, enclosed spaces, all these things I will never get over so I’m grateful.
“The Naughty Boy brand is sick and I love it but the experience makes me proud of myself.

“I could have just been myself. I joined Naughty Boy and I became a good man.”
Yesterday, he was reunited with his mother, who has dementia, and whom he cared for while living at home.
Although the contestants had food when evacuated from camp during Hurricane Arwen, he said he lost his first 6lb on a rice and bean diet before being the fifth contestant to leave the competition ITV recital.
Naughty Boy, 40, said: ‘I don’t know what the Australian jungle is like but it was a challenging experience. I can assure you that it is not easy.

“Sleeping in The Clink is very cold. I feel I need to protect Arlene [Phillips]. I can’t leave because I don’t want to leave her. Clink is the best to start our relationship, we started in the trenches and it can only get better from there.
“When I started winning the trials, 11 stars, 10 stars, I felt like I belonged more. I felt like I was adding something to the group and that was the moment that I started enjoying myself.”
Despite conflicts with most of the contestants, Naughty Boy hopes to join former footballer David Ginola on holiday in January.
“We’re going to Dubai, David is going there with his family and I’m joining them because I’m working on a movie and meeting a director,” he said.
When asked about his arguments with the likes of Ginola and Kadeena Cox, he said: “I’m not trying to instigate anything, I’ve always been true to myself.
“I’m the type of person, if I feel something, I don’t carry it. If I feel something, I get out immediately, not in a bad way. To be honest.
“My co-chef experience with Kadeena has been the absolute best. We had the “rice gate” but it was nothing serious, some people like rice cakes and I like fried rice.
“Everything gets exaggerated and you walk out of it and see the blue sky and there’s no problem in that. I want to continue a friendship with everyone in the camp. ”
