Natural gas smell reported, emergency crews on scene – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police, fire brigade and EMS are all responding to “a confirmed bridge collapse” at Point Breeze.

According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, all crews are being called to the scene in the Forbes and Braddock area.
Several cars as well as a Port Authority bus were involved in the collapse.
Sources told KDKA that the bus had three people and the driver on board at the time of the crash, none of whom were injured.

The public safety agency also said there was a strong smell of natural gas in the area and homes were being evacuated as crews responded.
They are asking the public to avoid the area.
It is not known if anyone was injured.
