Napoleon Dynamite star dies, family announces

DALE Critchlow, who appeared in the hit movie Napoleon Dynamite, has died, his family announced.

He is best known for his role as Farmer Lyle in the 2004 film, directed by Jared Hess.

The man’s family said he passed away in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the MorningStar Senior Living facility.

Critchlow also appeared in the 2006 comedy Church Bell, directed by Kurt Hale.

He was 92 years old and left behind four children, according to Deadline.

The cause of death has not yet been released.
