Naples woman arrested for selling fentanyl

A Naples woman was arrested by Collier deputies Friday after they found fentanyl during a traffic stop.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said Mary Anderson, 43, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking in amphetamines, three counts of drug possession and driving with a suspended license.

The arrest occurred after a co-pilot spotted Anderson driving a white Nissan on Immokalee Road. He stopped her because he had a warrant for her arrest.

A K9 warns that there are drugs on Nissan vehicles. Delegates discovered 40 fake Xanax pills that tested positive for fentanyl.

One passenger on board, Blayze Nochta, 37, was charged with possession of injecting drug paraphernalia.
