A SUSPECT is in custody for kidnapping a teenager who was last seen in a Walmart parking lot.

the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said driver is being held for kidnapping. They also determined that a pickup truck may have been involved in the incident and was impounded.

Irion was reportedly on her way to work when she went missing around 5 a.m. on March 12.

She was kidnapped from the Walmart Parking lot, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Data from the woman’s cell phone shows she arrived at the east side of the Walmart in Fernley, 30 miles east of Reno, at 5:09 a.m.

Irion reportedly sent a Snapchat at 5:24 a.m. just a minute before the suspect approached her car.

A minute later, surveillance video shows her car exiting the Walmart lot.

Irion was waiting for a shuttle to her job at Panasonic, which usually picks her up between 5:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m., her brother told WAGM 8.

Nothing has been heard from her since then.

Officials discovered her car days later, on March 15, after her phone was pinged in an industrial area.

Neither Irion nor her cell phone were found.

Irion’s brother, Casey Valley, learned from Panasonic that the woman was not showing up for work.

Then he went to Walmart and looked at the surveillance footage. He told WAGM 8 the suspect said or did something that caused Irion to move from the driver’s seat of their car.

The suspect then got into the vehicle with Irion on the passenger side and drove away.

Surveillance footage shows Irion in a blue Panasonic shirt and gray cardigan. She may also have been wearing dark fur boots and also carried a handbag.

Irion is 5’11” tall and has hair dyed black. She has green eyes, but one eye is also partially brown. One of her ankles has a smiley face tattoo, reports WAGM 8.

Her family says she usually carries a fidget spinner with her.
