MYSTERY follows an Ozarks family who disappeared after going on a religious sabbatical months ago.

Police say the couple left for a trip to Florida with their five-month-old in late February.

The couple kept in touch with family and friends after leaving their home in Missouri.

But family members became concerned after they had not heard from Justin, 32, Jennifer, 30, and their baby Barakah Ruggles since March 6.

A missing persons report was filed on May 5th.

The Ozark County Sheriff began tracking the family by contacting friends and family.

“Unfortunately, the timeline ends on April 12, 2022 in South Florida with no further activity since that time,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a social media update.

Officials believe the family is traveling in a silver 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 with New Hampshire license plate number 445-8031.

Investigators provided an example of what their tags might look like on Facebook.

Authorities also shared a suspicion that Justin and Jennifer Ruggles may be using fake names.

“Justin may go by the name ‘Joseph,’ and Jennifer goes by the name ‘Ruth,'” the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office said in an update.

A limited amount of information was provided about the family’s trip or the reason for it.

In the latest update, authorities thanked the public for their response to the case and continued to ask for their help.

“We would like to thank everyone for the reactions to our previous post. This post reached approximately 126,000 people and was shared more than 2,500 times,” the sheriff’s office said.

They went on to say that they are committed to following any leads shared with them.

The sheriff’s office urged the public to contact her at 417-679-4633 with information about the case.
