Just days earlier, Dana Lars Ryssdal, 35, was found dead in Martin’s home on January 27, according to police.
Martin was found dead in his vehicle at his home after being reported missing on Monday.
Houston Police had previously said that Martin was not a suspect in Ryssdal’s death.
There is currently no information on the motive or direct suspects, which confuses everyone.

But neighbors told ABC News they knew “something is wrong in the house.”
According to records, Martin’s parents bought it in March 2022.
Ryssdal was found dead at Martin’s home as police there responded to a welfare check.
He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were looking for Martin, who they had reported missing, and a white 2002 Dodge Ram pickup they believed was Ryssdal’s vehicle, which had also gone missing.
The truck was then reportedly found abandoned by a roadway and is being inspected for possible evidence.
The police set a reward of up to $5,000 for tips or information on the suspects involved in the murders.
Meanwhile, in other true crime cases, Dateline is investigating a case involving a Feb. 4 homicide in Alabama in which a woman allegedly shot her husband in the back of the head after being involved in infidelity.
