Mystery as 3 sailors from aircraft carrier USS George Washington found dead in less than a WEEK while Navy investigates deaths
THREE sailors from the aircraft carrier USS George Washington were found dead less than a week apart, the Navy said.
The Marine Criminal Police Office and local authorities are investigating the case.
The first seaman was found unresponsive on the aircraft carrier last Friday. The other two were found on April 9th and 10th at a location outside the base.
“While these incidents are still being investigated, there is no preliminary evidence that there is a connection between these tragic events,” said Commander Reann Mommsen, a Navy spokeswoman.
