His friends and family reported him missing the same day, according to the WKYC.
Police said Huff’s wife tried to reach him but continued to get his voicemail.
Text messages also went unanswered, and he didn’t show up for his shift as an electrician.
“They called the company and that’s what they were told [Aug 2]he canceled the work and carried on [Aug 3]he didn’t show up for work,” Lakewood Police Captain Gary Stone told Fox8.

A family member spotted someone driving Huff’s black 2015 Silverado and followed, but eventually lost sight of the vehicle, the news outlet reported.
“She called the Cleveland Police Department and they searched for the truck, couldn’t find the truck,” the police captain said.
“It was a white woman with dark hair she didn’t recognize who was driving the truck.”
Days later, police officers were called to an area near Train Avenue and Richner Avenue in Cleveland.
They discovered a decomposing body wrapped in a tarp.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Investigation Bureau identified the body as Huff’s.
The coroner’s office also revealed that Huff had been shot multiple times.
According to WKYC, his truck was not far from where his body was recovered.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of his death.
