My son was lured to his death in a honey trap in the jungle by a ‘nasty’ Thai drug dealer, says the father of a murdered British boy
THE father of British boy killed in jungle believes his son was lured to his death with a honey trap by an ‘evil’ Thai drug dealer.
The allegations come as part of a police investigation into the murder of 16-year-old Woramet Ben Taota, who was found beaten to death in Thailand last week.

Before the horrific discovery, he was last seen on May 6 at the wheel of a scooter in the company of Suraphltchaya Khamsa, who was found dead in a shallow grave today.
The suspected killer of the Briton is Chaiwat Boongarin, 44, who has since admitted the murder and remains in custody in Mae Tha district.
However, his parents Steven and Ooy Graham have to pick up the pieces.
Earlier this week, Father Chaiwat, 60, confronted Chaiwat during a messy crime reconstruction.
He had traveled from his home in East Sussex to the scene where Ben was allegedly killed.
Amidst the horror, he yelled at Chaiwat, “Scum, look at me, look into my eyes, look into my eyes you’ve damned.”
Trembling with anger, he yelled at the killer: “Take off his mask, I want to see his face. You are a coward. You are a coward.”
“Damn, look at me, you’re damned. No, you can’t look at me, you’re a coward. look, look at me You’re damned.” .”
But after the teenager was found just a week later, Steven told MailOnline he believes his son was lured into meeting his killer by a 15-year-old girl who became addicted to methamphetamine pills.
He claimed Ben rode to the remote location on his scooter with the girl in the back seat.
Steven said: “Ben was lured to his killer in some sort of honey trap set up by this young girl.
“She and Ben have known each other since they were kids, they were close.
“But it is believed that she had a relationship with this man, Wat.
“He had recently been released from prison and it is clear he was a prolific drug dealer.
“He got involved with this bad man and it ended so tragically.”
The parents claimed that Chaiwat allegedly supplied the girl with drugs and that Ben interfered because he was close to her.
Police also said the man was an alleged drug dealer who sold methamphetamines.
Police have been searching for Suraphltchaya since the incident was reported.
The two were last seen together on Ben’s motorcycle as they drove away on Saturday night.
But this morning, the woman’s family identified her body at the scene from the braces and jewelry she had been wearing.
She was found just three miles from Ben’s body in the forests of northern Thailand.
Lilian Graham, Ben’s grandmother, was reportedly also convinced he was being lured to his death.
She said: “Ben was dating a girl and they went to the woods to meet a guy.”
“But something must have happened and the man killed Ben.”
According to local police, Chaiwat claimed Ben and Suraphltchaya were allegedly involved in his drug trafficking activities.
Lampang Provincial Police Commander Mongkol Sampawapol said: “The police received information about the body’s location during the search operation.”
“The suspect who admitted killing the boy denies killing the girl.
“He says someone else attacked her and buried her body in the woods.
“We suspect the suspect is responsible for both murders, however police will continue to investigate the deaths to determine if anyone else was involved.”
“The female victim’s body will now be taken to the hospital for an autopsy to find evidence of rape or sexual assault as the suspect has a history of these crimes.”
“There were signs of bruising on her face and she is believed to have been hit with a solid object until her death.”
He is reportedly facing a likely death penalty if convicted on any of the alleged charges.
Ben’s funeral will be held on Monday, where he will later be taken to a holy site for cremation.
