My sneaky trick means you get a lot more liquids through TSA at the airport – it’s that much more convenient

IF you’re a woman who has flown on an airplane before, you know the struggle of getting your skincare and beauty products through TSA.
There is a strict limit on how much liquid you can bring and agents have no problem taking away even your most expensive products.

A fitness expert named Emily Mckeon, known on TikTok as @emilymckeonfit, shared her hack for taking beauty products on board.
The trick also works if you’re short on space and can’t fit an entire face wash bottle in your bag.
“Put eye makeup remover and toner on cotton pads in sachets,” she said.
The liquid-soaked cotton pads would stay fresh because they were sealed in a plastic bag.

“TSA approved,” she said.
When a commenter asked if the cotton balls would dry out, Emily said it wouldn’t as long as you deflate the bag before you close it.
Users were grateful for the advice:
“Oh my god why didn’t I ever think about that,” one person wrote.
“I’m overwhelmed,” said a second.
As for other ways to bring more items on your flight, an avid traveler named Courtney VanAuken shared her hack.

She posted a Facebook video while trying to get more personal items through security without having to pay extra.
“Airport hack: Next time you don’t have enough room in your personal item to pack and are trying to avoid Spirit or Frontier carry-on fees, grab a bag after security and put your stuff in it,” she said explained as she tossed some clothes into a white plastic bag.
