My nine-car neighbour pinches my parking spot every day – but people love the costly revenge I got

A resident who claims she’s sick of a neighbor using her parking lot every day has given her the last laugh with a rather costly vendetta.

The woman complained that her neighbor, who owns nine cars, had parked two of the cars right in front of her house, even though the driveway was empty.

A driver claims she got revenge after her selfish neighbor gave her a lift

Reddit user @u/killjoy2408 said: “My neighbors have a total of nine cars parked on the street. They always park two cars in front of my house and don’t move them all week.”

“We have a regulation where we live that says you can’t park your car in the same place for more than 48 hours.”

“My neighbors have a large driveway that fits four cars, but it’s always empty.

“They told me they don’t like to leave their driveway with cars because it looks tacky.

“Over half the cars they have don’t even use them. They only use them to find safe parking spots for themselves.”

“In 2021 they built a second unit at the back of their main home.

“I noticed that they finished the house in less than a month. That was a red flag because it takes two to three months, with city inspections taking the most time.

“I submitted a ticket to my city through the app and advised them that some illegal residential buildings may not have a permit. It wasn’t until a year later that I thought a lot about that.”

“I saw my neighbors demolish their second unit last week. Word got around on our block that a city inspector was there and made sure everything was torn down.”

The woman revealed her revenge had cost her over £90,000 based on the materials and labor they put into their second unit.

People were quick to comment on the post.

One said: “I can’t imagine I would care how it looks when you park your own cars in the driveway. That’s why there’s this damn driveway.”

Another said: “You shouldn’t even feel a little bad about it. They should.”

The Reddit user replied, “Thanks for that. The wife and children were great people, the husband not so much!”

A third remarked, “Sounds like some assholes got their karma.”
