My girlfriend cryptically revealed she’s pregnant — but I didn’t flinch at all, says I’m A Celeb star Seann Walsh

I’m A Celeb star Seann Walsh says he didn’t know he was going to be a father when his girlfriend read him a poem in which she revealed she was pregnant.

The comedian, 37, simply said “nice” and thought nothing of it.

Friend Grace Adderley had texted him to come home after a performance to surprise him with her verse.

Seann told a podcast, “Coming home, she’s in bed and there was another poem on the dresser and she was like, ‘Can you read that?’ I read the poem.

“It wasn’t clear enough. She didn’t directly say ‘I’m pregnant’.

“It was metaphors like ‘And now there’s more of us going into the future.’ ‘This is one of the most important moments in our lives’.

“I’ve become ‘nice’. I didn’t think anything of it. You know, sometimes women do things like write poetry.”

The couple announced in October that they are expecting their first child.

“Seann said he also tried a gag at the scan, saying, ‘She said, ‘Would you like to know the gender?’

“And I said, ‘Can we know the color first?’. Absolute silence.

“And I had to say the two words you never want to say in comics, which are ‘I’m kidding.'”
