A WOMAN has revealed the reason motorists should never buy an electric car after her vehicle left her in tears
Johanna from Canada used social media to advise other drivers against buying an electric vehicle.

Johanna was driving on the highway from Ontario to Montreal in Canada when her Ford electric car ran out of battery.
The tearful driver shared her experience in a TikTok video explaining her nightmarish journey.
In the clip, she said: “If you’re going to buy an electric car, don’t do it. Because I’m in a complete panic.”
“I can’t find a place to charge my car and I have 30 miles to go and it’s not because I haven’t tried.”
Despite stopping several times at different charging stations, the Tiktokerin stated that she was unable to charge her vehicle before the battery died.
Johanna explained: “It seems that the system has failed, I tried it on the Autobahn.”
“I have about 500 km to go before I get home because I’m traveling back to Montreal from Ontario.”
“At every station I stopped to charge, the charging stations were out of service.”
She burst into tears when she realized there weren’t any charging stations compatible with her Ford car.
Johanna added: “Tesla owns them. I don’t own a Tesla, I own a Ford and they don’t have the same charging stations as a Tesla.”
“It’s not like I can go to another gas station.”
Social media users were quick to offer tips and support to the desperate driver.
User Devorah commented, “Find a car dealership, preferably Ford, but any dealership that sells EVs and has a service department should have a charger.”
Another criticized: “Electric cars are a great concept but we don’t have the infrastructure to support them.”
Another user added: “Electric is still meant for local commuting. I would not stray more than 100 km from home.”
However, other users called for abandoning electric vehicles and returning to old cars.
“I have enough things to worry about and I’m not going to add my battery drain to this list,” one ranted.
It comes as another driver recounts his nightmarish journey after his vacation was ruined by his electric vehicle.
