“Multi-Vortex” tornado in Seminole, Oklahoma destroys homes with ripped off roofs and overturned trailers during an urgent alert

A MULTI-VORTEX tornado in Seminole, Oklahoma, has torn through homes, knocked over trailers and left behind debris as residents were warned to take cover.
“Get your storm preparedness now!” tweeted the National Weather Service, which operates in Norman, Oklahoma

The shock video showed the storm hitting Maud. Severe weather is expected in the Oklahoma City metro area through Wednesday night.
The multi-vortex tornado moved north to Seminole, where a reporter said there was extensive damage, including a roof ruptured from at least one structure.
Power lines are said to have covered streets when video showed sheet metal and debris on the streets.
Several houses have already been destroyed, roofs ripped off and debris littered the streets.
A school in downtown Seminole had its roof ripped off and debris thrown around.
The NWS shared recommendations on residents can seek shelter during a tornado, including driving to an underground storm shelter, storm cellar, or basement.
People are also urged to stay away from doors, windows and outside walls, and to cover themselves with pillows, sleeping bags or a mattress.
So far, according to local news, there have been no reports of injuries or deaths.
