A MOTHER died of Covid just a month after giving birth to her fourth child – without even holding her grandchild.

Michelle Stani, 37 years old, died of Coronavirus Her family said she developed complications on January 12 after giving birth to her son four weeks earlier.

Michelle’s aunt, Tina Stani, told the New York Post that the late mother was “heartbroken” at not being able to hold her newborn baby on Christmas Eve.

“Her partner took pictures of the baby and showed it to her, but that was all she got,” Tina said. “It tore her to pieces.”

“She literally texted me that she was heartbroken, that she wished she could hold her baby. That’s all she wanted.”

Michelle is the director of a kindergarten, according to her obituary, and graduated from Rutgers University in October with a master’s degree in education.
