Mother jumps out of home after being stabbed by son, Philadelphia police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

An injured woman jumped from the second floor of a burning Philadelphia home after her son was allegedly stabbed in the neck, Philadelphia police said.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday along East Wishart Street, near Emerald Street, in the city’s Kensington neighborhood.

The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her condition was not disclosed.
Investigators said firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control, which appeared to have been intentionally placed on the first floor of the home.
Police said the son had been arrested, but no charges were immediately announced.
