COIN collectors can start adding another piece to their collection thanks to a newly released quarter.
The new one quarter there was the poet Maya Angelou, who also championed the civil rights movement.
In addition, Ms. Angelou became the first African-American woman to be featured on a quarter.
Circulate Coins is being worked on at the Denver and Philadelphia mints.
The Angelou coin marks the first work in the American Women’s Program, featuring famous women in American history.
The next quarters in the program will launch at the end of the year and through 2025, according to US Mint.
As the Angelou coin continues to roll out, we list some of the most valuable coins in circulation.

Barbershop 1896-S – $961.20
Starting with the 1896-S barbershop, there are two types of coins to look for.
On the back of the coin, one of them has an “S” closer to the “R” on the “precious”, while the other “S” is positioned towards the center but a little closer to the “D” on the letter from “dollar”.
Another key difference is that the “1” on the R quarter close is located on the right side of the dentin, which is a raised edge around the coin.
The picture on the coin has the letter “1” perfectly centered on the denture.
More than 188,000 coins of 1896-S are believed to have been minted.

1860-S Liberty Quarter Seats – $4,265
Recently, an 1860-S quarter in the Liberty series sat Sold for $4,265 on eBay.

Its value came from the aftermath and impact of the American Civil War, which boosted circulation, especially in the Western states.
“Like the 1859-S quarter dollar, the 1860-S is a rarity that is virtually impossible to find in mint state,” said Ron Guth, president of the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). Written in a description of the coin.
“As such, it is one of the most important rarity in the series, on par with some of the Carson City problems of 1870-1873 and 1859-S.”
In total, 56,000 of the 1860 Liberty S sit coins are believed to have been minted.

Quarter 1872 CC Liberty existed in even scarcer numbers.
Only 22,850 examples of these were minted.
If you happen to have a quarter 1872 – you’ll want to look for “CC” on the back of the coin as this version has the lowest total of the five quarters sitting in Liberty.

Liberty’s Quarter Stands 1916 – $5,101
The 1916 coin was the first year of the Freedom coin to stand still – but not without some controversy.
First, the 1916 coin reveals Liberty’s left breast. That led to Liberty’s chest being covered by a leash shirt later in the series.
And there were legal problems too – as the coin wasn’t allowed into circulation until 1917.
“Mint started producing coins with a new design by Hermon MacNeil in December 1916, Mr. Guth Written in a description of the coin.
“Production is limited to 52,000 coins, mainly due to timing.”
The 1916-standing Liberty Zone is said to have the lowest editing budget in the series.
