As an emergency medicine specialist, she has spent months in the war zone and saved countless lives.

dr Freda recently spent two months in Ukraine with UK-Med medical aid organization on the front lines treating war victims.

She has also helped treat trauma victims at the Syrian border and combat a deadly outbreak of diphtheria in Bangladesh.

Her bravery and selflessness are impressive, the king thought – and so was every VIP and guest at yesterday’s glittering Who Cares Wins awards.
