Most activities and most wickets until December 19

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22 saw three pre-quarter-final encounters played on December 19. Two quarter-finals each are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Karnataka beat Rajasthan by eight downs in the first quarter-final of the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Trophy. 4/21 of Vijaykumar Vyshak helped Karnataka beat Rajasthan with 199 runs. They then chase their target with ease with the help of half a century from Krishnamurthy Siddharth (85*), Ravikumar Samarth (54) and Manish Pandey (52*).

The second quarter-final pre-match saw Uttar Pradesh get the better of Madhya Pradesh by five curly brackets. The second was thrown out in 234 runs despite Shubham Sharma’s 83-hit hit. Akshdeep Nath’s 78 undefeated and Rinku Singh’s 58 undefeated helped Uttar Pradesh hit the target in the final match.

Vidarbha beat Tripura 34 times in the third quarter-final before the quarter-final of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22. Half a century ago Yash Rathod (57 years old) and Atharva Taide (51 years old) helped Vidarbha score 258/7 in their allotted 50 passes. Yash Thakur (4/45) and Darshan Nalkande (3/41) then starred with the ball for the team led by Faiz Fazal as they beat Tripura by 224.

Maharashtra’s Ruturaj Gaikwad remains the top scorer after day six at the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22. He broke 603 runs in five matches, with a top score of 168. Gaikwad scored his runs with a monstrous strike rate of 112.92, with the help of 51 fours and 19 sixes.

Shubham Sharma of Madhya Pradesh jumped to second place in the ranking. He has accumulated 418 runs in the tournament, with 108 being his highest attempt. Sharma’s runs have an excellent strike rate of 96.31 and have 42 touchlines and 4 sixs.

Chandigarh’s Manan Vohra is third on the list of fastest runners of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22. He aggregated 379 runs in five matches, with 141 being his highest score yet. Vohra has an impressive hit rate of 94.75 and maxes out 34 four and six hits.

Vidarbha’s Yash Thakur, with 18 points, became the top performer after Day 6 of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22. He has 5/53 as his best performance and has an acceptable economy ratio of 5.92.

Yuzvendra Chahal of Haryana, Aniket Choudhary of Rajasthan and Yash Dayal of Uttar Pradesh each selected 14 butterflies in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22. They are placed in that order on the scorecard based on their hit ratio.

Choudhary and Chahal had the best efforts at 3/20 and 3/42, and conceded an average of 3.72 and 4.35 times per game. Dayal has 5/31 as his best metric and has a fantastic economic ratio of 3.90.
