SUPERMARKET giant Morrisons has apologized after displaying e-cigarettes next to children’s toys.
Parents were outraged after seeing shelves full of vaping products inches away from those filled with dolls and games.
Mum-of-two Sarah Hoare, 34, said: “I was surprised to see a vape display installed, but more shocking was the position of this display at the end of the children’s toy aisle.
“I could not believe my eyes.
“It was worse when my son asked me about it.
“I find it ironic that the confectionery show has been moved to accommodate this show of vape products.
“It seems to appeal to kids using this premium space.”
Morrisons apologized for the slip-up at its Wrexham store, saying staff accidentally put toys on those shelves.
A company spokesman said: “Toys were accidentally placed on these shelves and then quickly removed.
“We apologize to our customers for this error.”
