Yesterday we saw an extra quarter inch of rain in Pittsburgh.
For the year now, Pittsburgh has seen 13.2 inches of rain.
This is the 10th wettest launch on record and the most since 2018 (16.25″).
We also saw more rain to start 2011. Obviously, all top ten starts were in the year.
Looking ahead, we still have plenty of opportunities for rain. I counted 6 individual chances of rain from now until Easter morning.
It will be difficult not to see measurable precipitation on almost any day through Saturday, even with relatively low chances of rain most days.
The best chance of rain right now is early Thursday when a cool front slips through.
