Morgan Riddle pays a sweet tribute to Princess Diana as she watches boyfriend Taylor Fritz play at Wimbledon

MODEL Morgan Riddle paid a sweet tribute to the late Princess Diana while watching boyfriend Taylor Fritz pay at Wimbledon.

Decades after her death in 1997, Diana’s legacy as a style icon is still being celebrated and Morgan took the opportunity to pay homage to the former king.

“Get ready for Wimbledon,” Morgan told her 250,000+ TikTok followers.

“Princess Diana was an icon at this event and she has been there every year.”

Morgan shared photos of Diana at Wimbledon, including her blue floral outfit from 1981, a red and gold dress at the 1994 men’s final and a cream blazer, which she wore the following year.

“All of these photos were taken in the Royal Box at Center Court, which is where the royal family, members of the government and British celebrities sit every year.

“It’s the only place where spectators have a very strict dress code to watch a game.

Morgan’s friend Fritz played on Court No. 3, a stadium court but which does not have a strict dress code compared to the Royal Box.

But Morgan wanted to recreate one of Diana’s outfits for the event and chose a simple one consisting of a white tank top, white trousers, a brown belt and sunglasses.

Diana wore this outfit at St. Barts in 1995.

Morgan dressed up the look with white pinstripe pants and a chunky black belt.

She pairs the bottoms with a white sweater vest, white heels and a black handbag that matches the belt.

She completes the look with black sunglasses.

“See you on the tennis court,” Morgan says, ending the minute-long video.

‘SO PROUD’

Morgan took to social media to share her pride as Fritz’s Wimbledon run at the hands of Rafa Nadal came to an end.

Fritz came tantalizingly close to defeating one of the greatest players of all time by two sets to one.

But Nadal booked his spot in the Wimbledon semifinals, winning the last two sets in an epic affair 7-5, 7-6.

Despite the loss, world number 13 Fritz exits SW19 with his head held high and Morgan in his arms.

Morgan has expressed pride in 24-year-old Fritz, who is yet to win a Grand Slam.

Taking to Instagram, she said: “What a week! So proud of you @taylor_fritz. Until next time.”
