A HORRIBLE moment caught on camera shows distraught drivers jumping off the track of a runaway semi-truck after a snow gust ravaged the region.
The wild incident was sparked by a 60-vehicle pileup that killed five people on Interstate 81 in Minersville, Schuylkill County Pennsylvania On Monday.

Video of the accident showed terrified drivers and passengers facing the massive pile-up on the snow-covered road.
Dashcam footage shows a truck navigating snowy I-81 when the massive pile-up suddenly looms in front of the driver.
The driver notices the pile-up too late and cannot stop.
Moments later, motorists jump for their lives on the road when the runaway tractor crashes into a large dump truck, flipping it nearly 180 degrees.
Then you can hear the driver groan after the vehicle has come to a crashing stop.
A separate video captured the moment an SUV struck a prone sedan on the road, causing the sedan to skid and narrowly missing the driver, who was standing on the shoulder of the freeway shrouded in snow and fog.
The 60 car pileup comes as a massive slugfest through parts of Pennsylvania including Centre, Mifflin, Clearfield, Blair, Perry, Dauphin, Juniata, Huntingdon, Snyder.
Heavy snowfall and gusty winds reduced visibility and caused whiteout conditions that contributed to the accident, officials said.
Before the fatal crash of the National weather The service warned of “numerous short heavy snow gusts with very poor visibility”.
“The squalls will quickly reduce visibility to less than half a mile and blanket the roads in snow,” forecasters said, urging drivers to veer off the road or turn on their hazard lights.
The Schuylkill County Bureau of Emergency Management said first responders from four different counties responded, taking 24 patients to area hospitals for treatment.
The northbound diversion continued Tuesday morning.
I-81 North is closed from exit 107 to exit 119, with roads likely to be closed for most of the day on Tuesday.
