The incident happened in the fourth quarter at SoFi Stadium.

Footage from fans inside the stadium showed an activist being pursued by several security forces.

They were eventually knocked to the ground before the torch was thrown off the field.

The invasion was mentioned in the live broadcast on NBC.

TV cameras showed a flare being collected from one of the end zones.

It caused a brief disruption in the Bills’ dominant win over the reigning Super Bowl champion.

The protester wore a T-shirt that read “Right to Rescue”.

The website is a petition to help correct abuses in factory farming.
