Moment: Panthers star Derrick Brown attacks Saints receiver Michael Thomas in heated incident in the tunnel

CAROLINA Panthers defensive end Derrick Brown appeared to get into a heated argument with New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas on Monday.

Brown could be seen rushing toward Thomas in the tunnel at Bank of America Stadium after the Saints defeated the Panthers 20-17.

Shared footage Xformerly known as Twitter, shows the two NFL stars yelling at each other as they walk to their respective locker rooms.

Brown, 25, eventually followed Thomas, 30, around the corner, along with another man who tried to calm the Panthers defender.

Shortly afterwards, the man was seen separating the athletes.

He appeared to have stopped Brown from hitting Thomas, who was off camera.

The clip ends with the former NFL first-round pick being routed away from the Saints.

Thomas seemed to have brushed off the incident on X the next day.

“They tried to trick me,” he wrote, adding three laughing emojis.

A few minutes later, the three-time Pro Bowler added, “They played good Snoop Dogg after I just tried to do my dance.”

Thomas had seven catches for 55 yards against the Panthers on Monday.

The Saints got the win thanks to two rushing touchdowns from Tony Jones Jr.

The two NFC South teams will meet again on December 10th in New Orleans.
