Mom shot in head by ex after seeing her kiss Towie’s Kirk Norcross FaceTimed star to tell him ‘I’m dying’

THE former boss of the Dreamboys strippers tried to kill his ex with an ax after seeing her kiss Towies Kirk Norcross.

Blood-soaked former model Alex Alam then FaceTimed the star on her iPad to tell him: “I’m dying – he killed me, he finished me.”

Ms Alam, who suffered three fractured skulls and needed 100 stitches, pleaded, “Please go get my children. He will finish us off.”

Kirk, who had kissed Ms Alam minutes earlier on her doorstep, ran back to find her children, ages seven and three, crying in the hallway.

Ms Alam had been attacked by ex-boxer David Richards, who founded the Dreamboys and sold the business for £1million in 2019.

He put most of it in a fancy house with stables built for her in Stock, Essex and put it in both of their names.

They had a nine-year relationship before ailing wife Alam dumped him.

Chelmsford Crown Court heard she had been ill-treated for years and repeatedly reported him to the police for alleged coercive behaviour. Eventually, she filed a complaint for assault and received a non-harassment order.

Richards, 41, was forced to live in a hotel.

The day after he was questioned about the alleged assault charge, he waited five hours outside the house.

He saw 34-year-old Kirk leave and kiss her as they said goodbye.

When she went outside to see her dogs, he repeatedly hit her on the head with an axe.

Richards, who had mingled with Towie stars including Amy Childs, shouted: “Kirk Norcross? Kirk Norcross—at my house?”

Recalling the moment Richards ‘charged’ at her with the axe, Ms Alam said: ‘He said ‘shut up’ and then he frigging punched me in the head straight away.

“I think he hit me twice but I didn’t go down and he hit me again. I said, ‘David, don’t.’”

Ms Alam screamed as Richards tried to strangle her.

He pushed her to the ground while shouting, “Kirk Norcrosss, Kirk f***ing Norcross.”

She added, “I told him, ‘No, no, it’s not like that,’ and he said to me, ‘Shut up.’

“Every time I screamed or begged, he got angrier. I realized I was going to be chopped to pieces. I knew he would do it to me, and then he would do it to the kids.”

She said Richards tied her up with zip ties and started pulling her hair and accused her of trying to ruin his life by going to the police.

The quick-thinking Miss Alam made up a story that her father forced her into it – and that she had news to prove it.

She said this “saved her life” by giving her the opportunity to call for help while Richard was looking for her phone.

Arming herself with a kitchen knife, she hid in a bedroom and called Kirk and the police.

Kirk, who starred in 2013’s Celebrity Big Brother, said in a statement he visited Ms Alam at 6pm and fell asleep with her on the sofa after their children went to bed.

He said he “kissed her goodnight” when he left around midnight and texted her a few minutes later that he was home.

Then he got the FaceTime call.

He recalled: “She was lying on the floor by her bed, holding a kitchen knife.

“She was covered in blood. I had never seen anything like it. It was like watching a horror movie. She said, ‘Kirk come back, I’m dying. He killed me.’

“I asked her what happened, and she said, ‘He killed me with an ax.'”

Richards fled and was pursued by armed police before being arrested in Ipswich, the town where his mother lives.

He admitted telling an officer at the scene, “I did the stupidest thing in my life.”

Prosecutor William Carter said Richards’ belief that she was in a relationship with Norcross had an “extreme effect on him”.

He added: “In my view, this is a man who wanted to kill.”

The court heard he bought a Magnusson axe, zip ties and gloves at B&Q Basildon on March 21, then returned to the store two days later and bought the same items again. He also bought a mask and a black boiler suit.

He claimed he intended to disable Ms Alam’s horse box but denied being “embittered”.

He added, “The Kirk Norcross thing didn’t bother me at all.”

He denied trying to kill her or ever having an axe.

And he claimed Ms Alam gave him permission to tie her up with zip ties.

Richards admitted to violating the harassment law at a previous hearing.

He denied attempted murder, but it took a jury less than four hours to convict him after a week-long trial.

He will be sentenced next month.
