A MUM has been praised for her ability to hack lollipops with ease, preventing kids from arguing about anything.
The savvy lady showed how she’ll stave off this year’s Christmas movie controversies by writing a series of choices on wooden slats.
When movie night comes, one of her kids will pick a stick from the lot for that evening.
She uploaded a photo of some examples of lolly sticks, and said: “Decided to follow through to prevent arguments about choosing a Christmas movie.
“24 to choose from.”
The lollipop hack can also be a game changer when it comes to choosing dinner.
Mom Lou Kirsty Yeoman created her own special menu board and made a box containing all of her favorite meals written on lollipop sticks.
“Don’t think what to do to earn a stick a day and that’s what we are facing.”
Lou said she found a similar menu board on a Slimming World group and decided to try it out for herself.
The mom runs her own vinyl sticker printing business, so it’s easy to print out the days of the week in gold lettering.
She then adds them to a blackboard, along with screws and wire to hang it on the wall, and sticks clips next to each day to add lolly sticks.
Then Lou sits down to think about all the meals she knows her family enjoys.
Many people were impressed with her menu board, with one saying: “I was planning to do something like this for chores around the house for the kids.
“Never thought of making one for a meal.”
And another added: “That’s a great idea.”
And another mom has revealed how she feeds her family on just 97p a head.
In another parenting news, moms should NOT pack school lunches for their kids when they turn EIGHT – as experts insist they should make their own.
