Mom ‘helped torture daughter to death during exorcism to stop her crying’

TRAGIC new details emerged after a mother was accused of killing her toddler during a 12-hour exorcism.
Little Arely Hernandez, three, was found dead on the floor of a small church in San Jose, California last September with “multiple injuries to her eyes, face, neck and chest.”

It came after reports that her family was convinced she was “possessed by a demon” after waking up screaming.
According to court documents, the young girl was taken at 6:30 a.m. to a Pentecostal church, where a series of depraved acts were allegedly facilitated at the hands of her mother, pastor-grandfather and teenage uncle.
Mother Claudia Hernandez, 25, was accused of pinning her and putting her fingers in her mouth to make her vomit, which they “believed would help her get the ghost out,” the document said .
“One person held the victim by the neck while one held her around her stomach and the last around her legs,” the officials wrote.

The report said Arely “fell asleep several times” until “the victim vomited a clear/purple fluid.”
An autopsy later performed by a Santa Clara County coroner found that she died of asphyxia and asphyxiation.
A police report noted the family did not dial 911 until 8:12 p.m. — about two hours after they believed she had died.
They added that “no life-saving measures were taken” to help the dying child – who was found dead at the scene.
Associate prosecutor Rebekah Wise recounted the harrowing details of the alleged murder, writing: “She choked her multiple times until the victim fell unconscious.
She added, “She put her hands down her throat and continued this behavior for almost a full day.”
Ms Hernandez, 25, is now being held without bail, charged with aggravated assault on a child.
If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison, reports the New York Post.
Uncle Rene Aaron Hernandez-Santos, 19, and grandfather Rene Trigueros Hernandez, 59, were also arrested and charged in connection with the young girl’s death
However, it remains unclear whether the unnamed father of the girl was involved.
The new details, which were first released this week, emerged after her family held a Disney-themed funeral for the little girl, as her mother took to social media and YouTube to take up the news.
In the clip, she repeatedly said “it is what is” when referring to her daughter’s death, noting, “I’m at peace, I’m happy.”
Going by the name of Elisaa Santos, she told subscribers: “I could sit here and be negative, sad about the whole situation, that she died, but it’s like there’s no point, you know, because it’s like that, how it is.
“She’s not here with me – it is what it is.

“It’s like, what’s the point, you know? I’ll only demean myself when there’s no point in me doing it, you know? I can’t change the situation,” she said.
She added that people “turned against her” after her daughter died, then proclaimed, “I don’t worry too much about that because God knows the truth and the truth always comes out.”
