Molly Qerim gasps ‘that was tough’ as First Take guest gets ‘out of breath’ and claims NFL team ’embarrassed America’

CHRIS “Mad Dog” Russo had an extraordinary rant about the New York Giants on “First Take.”
The 63-year-old ESPN analyst claimed the team “embarrassed” America during Sunday night’s 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Russo was joined on Wednesday’s show by Stephen A. Smith, host Molly Qerim, Kimberley Martin and Marcus Spears.
And during his feature What Are You Mad About, he pounced on the hapless Giants.
Big Blue entered the season opener full of optimism, but was dominated by the Cowboys’ defense from start to finish.
Russo raged: “Didn’t the Giants practice in the summer?”

“Have you made it? Have they drawn up blocking plans? Have they made any plans for the Cowboys?”
“They knew who she was going to be for five months [first] Opponent.
“What a disaster. Can you imagine a poor Giants fan who walked all the way to MetLife on Sunday night and had work the next day?”
“You have a million Cowboys fans in the building and you have to leave midway through the second quarter because the game is over.”

“This performance on Sunday evening was a real disaster from a footballing perspective. You have embarrassed America.”
After the epic tirade, Qerim – a Giants fan – laughed: “That was tough, that last sentence was so tough.”
While Spears giggled, “You’re a little out of breath.”
And Stephen A. chimed in: “You’re a thousand percent right.”
Fans were quick to comment on Mad Dog’s histrionics, with one saying on X, formerly known as Twitter: “This is the best of What Are You.” Crazy More about the segment.
Another said: “Yo that Mad Dog segment on First Take was hilarious!”
And a third added: “Mad Dog being mad as Stephen A is hysterical.”
It was another busy day at First Take, with Stephen A. previously mocked for his first top finish of the new NFL season.

While Molly received praise from both the judges and fans at home for her “gorgeous” on-air outfit.
The Giants are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals.
