Jacobson, of Missouri, has been accused of launching a campaign to “harass, harm and defame” Shapiro, according to court filings seen by The US Sun.
Shapiro claimed that after the ordeal, he “required the help of a psychotherapist.”
The couple dated for around two years before their relationship ended in December 2020.
Three months later, Shapiro received a folder containing pictures of a man, details of the model’s relatives and his social security number from a mysterious person outside his Manhattan home.

The man who handed over the folder is said to have said: “This is for you from the Italians.”
Shapiro asked Jacobson if she was the mastermind behind the images before blocking him.
Jacobson reportedly texted Shapiro and said she also received a folder – shortly after he received the documents.
Court documents claimed private investigators were hired to conduct a “malicious” campaign against the model.
Shapiro and his girlfriend have also been accused of human trafficking, according to court documents.
The two meter high posters were taken down before new ones were said to be put up.
Shapiro’s girlfriend and husband were also visited by two mysterious men at their Florida home and given a folder, according to court documents.
The folder contained photos showing her and Shapiro having dinner together at the restaurant.
The court documents have claimed that the snaps were intended to “embarrass” and “humiliate” her in front of her husband.
‘Covered’
In May 2021, a bowling alley employee handed a note for Shapiro that appeared to read, “Two men are taking photos of you from across the bowling alley.”
But they quickly left the scene when Shapiro approached them.
Shapiro claimed investigators were trying to sabotage a business he started with a friend.
And he filed lawsuits after “derogatory and defamatory” articles were published.
He has since amended his complaint to include Jacobson and the investigators.
Shapiro also claimed that he and his girlfriend were stalked in New York in July 2021 by a man who had a tattoo of an American flag on his arm.
The model told the man at a store that he knew an artist who had several clients, including Jacobson.
After sharing the revelation, the man quickly ended the call and left the store.
Shapiro claimed in the court documents that his modeling career was “damaged” by the allegations.
He said fashion designers canceled planned and potential photo shoots.
Shapiro revealed he suffered “psychological and emotional” distress as a result.
“DAMAGED” CAREER
He emailed Jacobson’s husband of 30 years, John, asking for his help, court documents revealed.
He said Jacobson had a “great sense of humor,” before recalling their relationship getting “rocky.”
In the email, Shapiro claimed Jacobson hired private investigators to track and harass him and his current girlfriend.
Jacobson, who founded the trucking company TransAm in 1987, called the lawsuit “nonsense.”
She told The Daily Beast: “It’s nonsense. He is an opportunist trying to capitalize on a personal situation.”
Her attorney, Alexander R. Klein, claimed, “The plaintiff is asking permission of the court to amend his complaint.

“Whatever the merits of his first version, he was wise enough not to include some of the new parties and claims he is now trying to add.
“We expect that the plaintiff will learn this lesson the hard way.”
