Model friends went crazy over Shane Warne

MODEL Caprice revealed yesterday that her glamorous friends went ‘berserk’ over Shane Warne.

She shared how the cricketer charmed supermodel Lee-Ann Liebenberg at a glitzy event – and then went to another party with her the following night.

Caprice, 50, launched her lingerie brand in South Africa and attended a charity event the night before, sitting next to Shane.

She recalled, “Sitting on the other side of him was Lee-Ann, so he was quite happy with the seating arrangement and after all, he was the life and soul of the entire event.

“He was so tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating, charming and, of course, handsome. He was absolutely hilarious – all the girls were freaking out about him.

“They all just flattered him and he loved every second of it. The funnier he was, the more attention he got.

“They should have hired him to host the whole night. They ended up giving him his own microphone and he made all these comments.

“He’d let the whole room down with his brilliant one-liners.”

The next night Caprice hosted her party in Johannesburg and Shane arrived arm in arm with Lee-Ann, voted FHM South Africa’s Hottest Woman.

She added: “I hadn’t invited Shane because I didn’t think he wanted to come. He said: ‘Hey Cap!’ and had that cheeky grin on his face.

“That was typical Shane. He really was a special character and it’s such a great loss to the world.”
