THE search for a missing mother has come to a tragic end after more than two weeks.
Police have announced that 43-year-old Jennifer Brown has been found dead.
The mother disappeared after she failed to pick up her son from school and investigators launched an intensive search for her.
“I am sorry to report that we have found Jennifer Brown, who we were looking for, and she is dead,” the Montgomery County District Attorney said.
Brown was last seen by a friend and business associate around 2 p.m. on January 3.
The next day, she was reported missing after failing to pick up her eight-year-old son from the bus stop.
Brown’s car was still in front of her house after she left.
Her belongings — keys, wallet, purse and work cell phone — were also left behind.
The mother’s personal cell phone has yet to be found, but police say it has not communicated since the morning of her disappearance.
