‘Missing’ Ginger Zee surprised by GMA co-star’s sudden revelation and admits she ‘didn’t have a clue’
GOOD Morning America star Ginger Zee has admitted she was surprised by her colleague’s revelation.
Gio Benitez revealed a little-known fact after telling fans he and Rhiannon host Ally this week at GMA3.

He said: “Rhiannon is the first person I hosted a show with in Miami 11 years ago. Now we can do it again.”
Rhiannon, who wore a bright red cable-knit sweater, joked, “It’s the sequel!”
Zee, who was absent from Monday’s episode of GMA, admitted she wasn’t aware.
She posted in the comments section: “Entertaining story. Had no idea and love it.”
Rebecca Jarvis, who recently filled in for Michael Strahan at the New York studios, said she loved the fact too.
Rhiannon posted three love hearts as she responded to the backstage clip with the hosts.
Rhiannon starred on GMA3 for weeks after Amy Robach was pulled off the air when rumors of her alleged affair with TJ Holmes surfaced late last year.
Holmes was also sidelined and replaced by DeMarco Morgan. But this week, Benitez is co-hosting the show.

Holmes and Robach have since left the show, but ABC executives have not announced their permanent replacements.
It comes as Zee was absent from the show on Monday after she was struck down by an illness.
She was replaced by New York-based ABC7 meteorologist Brittany Bell.
It is unknown if Zee will return to GMA today.
Last week, Zee shared a clip of herself in bed complaining about the flu.
She captioned her post: “Verified flu and COVID within a month. special. I hope you are all healthy. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”
Zee, who had a raspy voice, told fans: “It’s really incredible. Flu three weeks ago, Covid and… we’re not sure.
“Miles threw up a lot, so I guess that’s what you get with Pre-K.”
Miles is Ginger’s little son who apparently brought home the germs that infested the meteorologist.
Fans took to the post office to send well wishes to Ginger.
One fan wrote: “I hope you feel better soon.”
Another shared, “And you still look great… feel better”
A third said: “Hope you’re feeling better ginger! Healing Vibrations [are] will be sent to you.”
The US Sun reported how Zee slammed back a troll who claimed she’d look better if her hair was blonde.
And the parents showed off her makeup-free self as she celebrated Miles’ birthday.
