MISS Alabama Zoe Sozo Bethel spoke about wanting to live life to the fullest in her tragic final posts before her death.
Zoe died on Friday, eight days after she was involved in a horrific accident.
A few weeks before her death, the beauty queen shared messages of hope on her Instagram account.
She captioned a shot of herself wearing a red shirt with a quote she said was from Joan of Arc.
“One life is all we have and we live it as we believe it. But sacrificing what you have and living without faith is a more terrible fate than that. dead,” Zoe wrote on January 18.
Last December, the reigning Miss Alabama posted a statement saying she was contemplating her life as the year drew to a close.
“I assessed my early years, focusing on all the mistakes I made and the consequences of disobedience,” she wrote.
“I feel depressed/disappointed with all that I haven’t achieved at my age. Feeling regret.”
Zoe continued: “I was reminded to look at the bigger picture and admire all that God has done for me. Focus on his promises and keep the faith to continue the journey he has made for me. tutorial.
“This year has gone by lightning fast. I’m hopeful for what’s to come, although I’m struggling with the right planning (free spirit), I plan to close that hole and seize it. better than 2022!”
Zoe ended her post with two quotes from the bible.
Last year, she also used her Instagram to honor her late mother.
Zoe shared photos of her mother, which she captioned: “In honor of my mom. #BreastCancerAwareness.”
In a touching tribute on social media posted after her death, Zoe’s family said the young girl “touched the hearts of so many.”
The tragic news of Zoe’s passing comes just days after her family confirmed that she was involved in an accident.
“Zoe had an accident on Thursday night, February 10th and suffered severe brain/brainstem damage and is in a coma,” the family wrote on her Instagram.
They did not specify what accident Zoe was involved in.
At that time, they also shared a fundraising page for Zoe’s medical bills, received more than $41,000 in donations.
The family said the money also went to Zoe’s daughter.
