Minecraft 1.18 Caves & Cliffs Update Supported Devices Revealed

NS Minecraft The Caves & Cliffs update was announced last year at Minecraft Live 2020. It would be the biggest update in the game’s history, but the developers decided to split it into two parts.

The second part of the update (Minecraft 1.18) is the most interesting bringing in new cave and mountain changes. Sadly, some of its announced features, including dark caves, have been dropped.

On November 17, the developers finally revealed the release date for Minecraft Update 1.18. It will launch on November 30.

Along with the release date, all devices that will receive the Minecraft 1.18 update have also been revealed.

Here is a list of devices that will support Minecraft 1.18 Bedrock Edition:

  • Xbox one
  • Xbox Series S and X
  • Windows 10 and 11
  • Android
  • iOS
  • Nintendo Switch

One of the scariest and most exciting cave biomes, the deep darkness, introduced at Minecraft Live 2020 has been put on hold. Along with that, Warden, sculpture blocks, archeology, goat horns and bundles will not be released this year.

A lot of new generation features will be introduced with the second part of the Caves & Cliffs update. Biomes and terrain generation have been made smoother, and some new features such as aquifers have been added.

The caves will no longer feel the same as there are new biomes, and climbing will be more fun and enjoyable.

I can see my dirty house from here! A steady gait and some even more steady nerves may be needed, but the climactic view of Cave & Cliff: Part II really makes for a great postcard!
