And the station is dedicated to Christmas – four months before the big day.

More precisely 116 days before Christmas.

The channel in question is great! Christmas, which celebrates its festive comeback every year.

According to RXTVInfo, it’s back sooner than ever – albeit by a day.

It will take the place occupied by GREAT! Romance.

That’s number 52 for Freeview, 319 for Sky, 424 for Virgin and 303 for Freesat.

And due to some technical changes, more homes than ever before will be able to tune in to Freeview.

GREAT! Christmas is expected to last until early January.

A record year 2022 follows, in which the channel reached 5 million people.

“After a record-breaking 2022, GREAT! Christmas is now available nationwide so even more people in the UK can enjoy the Christmas spirit!” said Steve Hornsey, vice president of films and entertainment at Narrative Entertainment.

“The channel is full of fun, light-hearted films with a touch of tinsel that resonate with viewers looking for happy content and lovely Christmas stories.”

Although great! Romance will go away for a while, the other channels of GREAT! remain available.

That includes GREAT! movies, great! Action and great! TV.
