The payment represents a portion of the state’s energy profits, which it sends to residents each year.

The PFD was worth a total of $3,284 for 2022.

Eligible Alaskans must apply by the end of the month to receive their direct payment.

You can apply online by going to the Alaska government website.

Paper applications are also available at distribution centers nationwide.

Remember that adults and children apply separately.

For example, a family with two parents and three children must submit a total of five applications.

The only major requirement is that you have lived in Alaska for the full year.

THE PAYMENT PLAN

When Alaskans receive the check depends on when they filed their tax returns.

Residents classified as Eligible – Unpaid on April 12 are due a payment on April 20.

Those with Eligible – Unpaid status on March 8 received their payment on March 16.

OTHER PAYMENTS

Several other payments are available in different states to help residents cope with high prices related to inflation.

In Colorado, the Property Tax, Rent, Heat (PTC) discount is available to eligible residents.

The PTC program aims to provide more than $7 million in grants in 2023 to support seniors and people with disabilities in Colorado.

The deadline was Friday, March 10, and eligible residents can receive up to $1,044 per year.

Meanwhile, the “Five Back” program returns five cents for every $100 Virginia residents paid in property taxes.

The rebate is made possible thanks to a budget surplus of $18 million for 2022.

To qualify for a payment, you must have been a Richmond property owner who paid property taxes in full by the January 2022 invoice date.

Also, you must have owned the property since the second accounting period of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022.

The checks are expected to arrive by April 14th.
