Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend is accepting applications through March 31.
The payment represents a portion of the state’s energy profits, which it sends to residents each year.
The PFD was worth a total of $3,284 for 2022.
Eligible Alaskans must apply by the end of the month to receive their direct payment.
You can apply online by going to the Alaska government website.
Paper applications are also available at distribution centers nationwide.
Remember that adults and children apply separately.
For example, a family with two parents and three children must submit a total of five applications.
The only major requirement is that you have lived in Alaska for the full year.
THE PAYMENT PLAN
When Alaskans receive the check depends on when they filed their tax returns.
Residents classified as Eligible – Unpaid on April 12 are due a payment on April 20.
Those with Eligible – Unpaid status on March 8 received their payment on March 16.

To qualify for a payment, you must have been a Richmond property owner who paid property taxes in full by the January 2022 invoice date.
