ARSENAL legend Martin Keown has told Mikel Arteta to stop dating the club’s stars.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the latest star to leave Emirates after being criticized by the Gunners boss.
Arteta convinced the striker to sign a new £350,000-a-week deal in 2020 but he joined Barcelona on a free transfer this week after the pair’s relationship fell apart.
The Spaniard blocked Aubameyang and stripped him of the captaincy after breaking the rules.
The Gabonese reveal at his Nou Camp revealed that his failure to sign Arteta was the reason for his departure.
And Matteo Guendouzi was also transferred to Marseille on loan after being ostracized.
Now Keown has urged Arteta not to be so confrontational in his appearance on talkSPORT.

The former defender said: “Is this decision in the best interest of Arsenal football club? That’s all I’m looking at.
“There is no substitute for the striker. Arsenal are in the fight for 4th place and have a chance to do so.
“This player, a bit different from Ozil’s situation, the current manager awarded him a contract. He evaluates the player, feels he is good enough to go so there is no problem.
“Tuchel came and said ‘yes, Aubameyang was always late for training. We handled him differently’ so the manager knew what the situation was. And, of course, what I don’t want is for the manager to have a reputation for abusing the players.”
Keown added: “I don’t know of another famous coach who has loved so many players.
“Perhaps things are very easy to happen with Ozil. Guendouzi has since continued and performed well, getting into the national team. It was an explosion or two.
“He may feel he is erasing a culture that was allowed to flourish under Arsene Wenger. I understand that but at the same time, all footballers are very different so what you need to do is find a way to bring out everyone’s potential.
“You can’t keep falling in love with people. You could argue, and I’ve seen Arsenal fans say, if you step out of the ranks you’re out but probably not if you’re Xhaka. He stepped out of the line a few times and came back straight to the team.
“So this kind of management policy, is it about building culture or are there things he sees in players where he thinks ‘I don’t want that. You exit the building’. “
