Mike Pence snubs old boss Donald Trump in official video announcing his candidacy for president in 2024

MIKE Pence failed to mention Donald Trump in his campaign video as he launched his bid for the White House.

Pence also didn’t mention Trump by name in the clip, but said America needs new leadership.

He said, “My family and I have been blessed beyond measure with the opportunity to serve this nation and it would be easy to stay on the sidelines.”

“But that’s not how I was brought up. So today I announce before God and my family that I am running for President of the United States.”

In his campaign video, Pence said: “The American dream is being destroyed by runaway inflation.

“We can take this country back. We can defend our nation and secure our border. We can revitalize our economy and put our nation back on the path to a balanced budget.”

This comes after Chris Christie announced his bid for the Republican nomination.
