Mike Maignan, target of the Chelsea transfer, posts a cryptic Instagram message in which he specifically criticizes the current club AC Milan

CHELSEA transfer target Mike Maignan has posted a cryptic Instagram post targeting current club AC Milan.
The France goalkeeper is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
After a turbulent few days at the San Siro, Maignan’s future in Milan is uncertain at the moment.
The sacking of technical director and club legend Paolo Maldini after four years in the role has angered several key players.
Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali, Rafael Leao and Maignan are reportedly all upset about the decision, with sporting director Ricky Massara also leaving the club.
Now, Maignan seems to have expressed his feelings in a cryptic social media post with Maldini.
He shared a few images from his unveiling in Milan in 2021, which saw the Frenchman holding his shirt alongside Maldini and signing his contract.
He captioned the pics: “Semper Milan,” meaning “Always Milan.” He also put a question mark on the “I” in Milan.
Football Italy Report that Maldini wanted to offer a new deal to Maignan before his departure.
His departure has now put the 27-year-old’s future in doubt, despite three years remaining on his current contract.

The disruption is a boost for Chelsea as Maignan is high on his list of goalkeeping goals.
Maignan drew attention in his second season in Italy when he conceded just 27 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign a new number one this summer, with Andre Onana and David Raya also identified as targets.
Current Chelsea stoppers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy were far from impressive last season, raising doubts about their ability going forward.
