MIKE EVANS doesn’t let anyone compete against the GOAT.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday was dominated by a fourth-quarter brawl.
Buccaneers wide receiver Evans sprinted onto the field to sideline Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore as he confronted quarterback Tom Brady.
Lattimore and Brady can be seen They yell at each other before Tampa Bay’s Leonard Fournette, running back, shoves Lattimore, causing Lattimore to push him back at the face mask.
At this point Evans thunders in.
When he talks to the referees afterwards, it looks like Evans is there saying something along the lines of, “This is Tom Brady, what should I do?
Evans said after the game, “It’ll be hot when you get to New Orleans.”
Explaining his role in the brawl, Evans said: “All I see is Lattimore, he liked to punch Lenny in the face or something and then push Tom is all I saw. I just pushed him.”
Despite the fact that both he and Lattimore were later sacked from the game, Evan said he’s not worried about suspension, comparing it to a similar incident in 2017.
Evans said: “In 2017 I didn’t even get kicked out, and that was really a cheap shot. It wasn’t.”
According to NFL reporter Ian RapportLeague officials are reviewing the incident for a possible suspension as of Monday morning.
