MIDLAND, Texas (Nexstar) – MISD, a school district of more than 26,000 students, organized school tours this week to give parents and families the opportunity to check out some of the unique programs that each student has. provided by the school.
Students we spoke to say that from college prep programs to career projects, being able to organize these school tours allows the public to see what makes them unique. unique to Midland and each school in the district.
Midland High School student council member Nathen Ivy shared what being a part of MISD means to him and why more people should visit bulldog territory.
“When they came they saw the history behind it and why it was important and why we love being bulldogs, I mean that’s what we grew up with and now we Here, I think it’s important that we can tell them why Ivy says it’s important to be a bulldog and why it’s important to have tradition.
