Middlesbrough are now selling Chelsea’s FA Cup ticket allocation to their fans after Blues supporters blocked

And after a strange controversy over the situation, Boro jumped at the opportunity to solicit Chelsea’s allocation to make food for their supporters.
All in all, the Championship team is currently selling an additional 3,200 tickets to home fans.
A statement from Middlesbrough read: “We have an additional 3,200 tickets available to Boro fans for Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea against Chelsea at Riverside.
“These tickets have been returned to the club by Chelsea due to government sanctions.”
The Blues chiefs have begged the Government to allow them to have some supporters in Teesside.
After that request was denied, they cheekily asked for the match to continue without ANY fans ‘because of integrity issues in sport’.
However, the FA confirm Chelsea have agreed to withdraw their outrageous appeal in a humiliating game against U after Middlesbrough promised to ‘resist Chelsea’s actions with the strongest possible terms.’
Earlier, Gary Lineker led the outrage following the Blues’ strange claim.
Lineker tweeted: “So Chelsea have now dropped their request that the FA Cup match at Middlesbrough be played behind closed doors. A step in the right direction.
“I don’t know whose idea was to make the request in the first place. What the hell were they thinking?”
Middlesbrough takes on Chelsea on Saturday, with the quarter-final first leg at 5:30pm.
