The death of Hollywood actor Michael Madsen’s war hero son is being investigated by the Army after he was found dead in a suspected suicide at his barracks amid allegations he was arrested. was “embarrassed” for seeking therapy, The Sun can reveal.
Hudson Madsen – godson of legendary director Quentin Tarantino – was found with a gunshot wound to the head at his residence at Schofield Barracks near Wahiawa, Hawaii, on Sunday.
The authorities will not confirm when the tragedy happened.
Hudson is the godchild of the legendary film director Quentin Tarantinoaccording to IMDb.
Father Michael, 64, and Quentin, 58, are longtime collaborators who have worked together on such classics as Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol.1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2.
Hudson appears to have served in the US Army and posts pictures taken in Afghanistan on social media.
A spokesman for the Department of Medical Examination in Honolulu “I can confirm Hudson Lee Madsen, 26, died from a gunshot wound to the head in a suspected suicide on the island of Oahu.”
According to his Facebook profile, Hudson lives in Wahiawa, Hawaii with his wife Carlie.
Earlier this month, Carlie wrote on social media praising her “wonderful husband” Hudson for helping her while she underwent surgery.
She wrote: “He’s also been amazing at helping me recover and I’m so grateful!”
A source told The Sun that Hudson’s mother DeAnna Madsen, 61, is traveling to Hawaii to deal with the tragedy.
Besides his work with Tarantino, Michael is also known for his performances in hit films such as Die Another Day, Sin City, Thelma and Louise and Donnie Brasco.
The Sun has reached out to the family but a relative declined to comment.
The family said in a statement to The Blast: “We are heartbroken and filled with grief and mourn the passing of Hudson. His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. “
