BATTERED Michael Conlan took to Instagram from his hospital bed to update his injury and show off his nasty facial injuries.
The Irishman fell over the rope in a terrifying KO during his WBA featherweight match against Leigh Wood in Nottingham.
He was rushed to hospital after being carried out of the stadium on a stretcher because Wood’s celebration was overshadowed.
But the bloody Conlan videotaped himself in the early hours and posted the clip online to let fans know he was fine – and congratulate his opponent.
The 30-year-old man said: “I was fine when I was just checked at the hospital.
“The CT scan results are clear.
“Congratulations to Leigh Wood, congrats to his team, that was the best shot of the night he got me with at the end of the game.
“But that’s it, I’ll be back.”
He’s been following it on Twitter with a flurry of tweets – and has his eye on a rematch.
Conlan added: “I’m all good people, cheer for the messages.
“Definitely want a rematch lol.
“Having seen the battle, I must run again!
“Pick up & 11th ball missed, kicked in tired & I was booked with a good shot that I didn’t see.
“Respects to Leigh Wood congratulations again, your (sic) is a tough guy – but let’s run it back.”
Conlan, who had Wood on the canvas in the opening, led all three judges’ scorecards to get to the final round.
But local hero Nottingham, 33, landed with a blow to the head that left Conlan undefeated before – and he ended it in a brutal and dramatic way.

But he wasn’t in the mood to celebrate with Mick’s condition unknown.
Immediately after the victory, Wood said in tears: “I just hope Michael is okay. I can’t celebrate until I know he’s like that.”
“He was tough and it was a bad knockout so I just wanted to see him be fine.
“I’m very emotional and had a few tears in my eyes.
“I heard he got up and talked but I want to see him.”
‘PRAYER FOR CONLAN’
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn called Wood’s win ‘one of the greatest comebacks’ – but reiterated that ‘we are all praying for Michael’.
Hearn said: “It looks like a master of Michael and going into season 12 I can’t see how Leigh could turn the tide of the war.
“Michael had two leads going into the final round – Leigh had to knock him out in the 12th round and he did.
“I’d love to celebrate but all our thoughts are with Michael.”
Ryan Garcia tweeted: “One of the best fights I’ve ever seen if you don’t watch don’t watch anything. Awesome, hope Conlan is okay.”
Shakur Stevenson added: “Prayers for Conlan hope everything is okay with him.”
And Anthony Fowler wrote: “I really hope Conlan is okay, is that one of the craziest endings to a fight I’ve ever seen?
“One of the best fights I’ve seen in years, lots of heart, grit and determination shown by both men, great respect for both.”
